Terms of Engagement

  • Currency and tax. All rates are in Canadian dollars and exclusive of GST, applied at 5%.
  • Invoicing. Advisory and hourly work is invoiced monthly in arrears with a summary of time. Project work is invoiced against the agreed deposit and completion schedule.
  • Payment terms. Net 30 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Deposits. Build and project work requires a 50% deposit before commencement. The deposit applies to the build fee only.
  • Travel. Work within Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and Parkland County carries no travel charge. Travel beyond that area is agreed in advance.
  • Third-party costs. Hosting, domains, licences, stock assets and subcontracted services are separate client-responsibility line items.
  • Ownership. On final payment, the client owns their website, digital assets and platform outright. Alchemy Imageworks retains ownership of its own methods, tools and pre-existing materials.
  • Validity. These rates are held for twelve months from the effective date. Quoted project pricing is held for thirty days.
